Install

  1. 01

Download. Get the extension from the Download page. Before the Chrome Web Store listing is live you receive a ZIP file.

  2. 02

Unzip. Extract the ZIP into a folder you will keep, for example Documents/LeadSpyKit.

  3. 03

Open the extensions page. In Chrome or any Chromium browser (Edge, Brave, Opera) open chrome://extensions and switch on Developer mode.

  4. 04

Load it. Click Load unpacked and choose the extension folder. Pin the icon so it is easy to reach.

  5. 05

Open the side panel. Click the icon. The panel opens beside the page and stays there while you work.

  6. 06

Add your licence (paid extensions). Open Settings, paste the key from your account page and press Check. Without a key the free limits apply.

Works in Chrome and Chromium browsers such as Edge, Brave and Opera. See the Download page.

How to use it

  1. 01

    Open Google Maps

Use any Maps language. The extension does not depend on the interface language.

  2. 02

    Enter keywords

One keyword per line, for example Digital Marketing Agency. Each keyword runs against every area.

  3. 03

    Add areas

Paste areas one per line, import a CSV or TXT file, or pick a built-in pack. Use our free Maps Area List Generator to prepare lists for many countries.

  4. 04

    Choose the pace

Safe is the default. Fast is shorter delays and more risk of a verification page.

  5. 05

    Start

The extension opens one dedicated Maps tab and works through the queue. Leave the tab open. You can pause, resume or stop at any time.

  6. 06

    Watch progress

The panel shows state, found and skipped counters, estimated time left and area coverage.

  7. 07

    Export

Choose fields, choose how to remove duplicates, filter, and download.

Tips

  • Several small areas find more businesses than one big city.
  • Run in the evening or at night for your own time zone and keep the tab visible.
  • Use keywords in the local language to match how businesses list themselves.
  • Respect each business: only contact people where the law and your agreement allow it.

Troubleshooting

Maps shows a cookie or consent page.

The run pauses with a message. Accept or decline in the tab, then press Resume.

A search found only one place.

Maps sometimes jumps straight to a single result. It is treated as one item and the run moves on.

A verification or CAPTCHA page appeared. What now?

The run stops by itself and shows a notification. Solve the check in the tab yourself, then press Resume. The extension never solves, bypasses or works around it.

The run paused with a countdown. Is something wrong?

No. After a stall or several failures in a row the extension cools down for 10 minutes and then resumes. This keeps activity gentle.

I closed the browser during a run.

Progress is saved after every item. Open the side panel again and press Resume. Items already done are not repeated.

A field is empty for some rows.

The page did not show that detail, or the site layout changed. The run continues and leaves the field empty. If it is empty everywhere, update the extension.
