Install
- 01
Download. Get the extension from the Download page. Before the Chrome Web Store listing is live you receive a ZIP file.
- 02
Unzip. Extract the ZIP into a folder you will keep, for example Documents/LeadSpyKit.
- 03
Open the extensions page. In Chrome or any Chromium browser (Edge, Brave, Opera) open chrome://extensions and switch on Developer mode.
- 04
Load it. Click Load unpacked and choose the extension folder. Pin the icon so it is easy to reach.
- 05
Open the side panel. Click the icon. The panel opens beside the page and stays there while you work.
- 06
Add your licence (paid extensions). Open Settings, paste the key from your account page and press Check. Without a key the free limits apply.
Works in Chrome and Chromium browsers such as Edge, Brave and Opera. See the Download page.
How to use it
- 01
Add websites
Paste or import a CSV or TXT (columns website, domain, name), use the current tab, or send rows from Maps Lead Pro or Search Leads.
- 02
Allow site access
The extension asks once for permission to read the websites you list. It explains why.
- 03
Set options
Pages per domain, respect robots.txt, include guessed emails.
- 04
Start
It reads the homepage and likely contact pages, one request per site every few seconds, up to three sites at a time.
- 05
Review statuses
Filter by status, then export with duplicates removed.
Options
| Option | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Pages per domain | Homepage plus up to this many contact, about, team or legal pages. | 6 |
| Respect robots.txt | Skip pages a site asks bots not to read. | on |
| Include guessed emails | Adds patterns like first.last@ labelled guessed. Never mixed into found emails unless you choose. | off |
| Re-verify | Run the checks again on the selected rows. | manual |
| Credits | Server-side email checks use credits. Browser checks use none. | see account |
Export
- CSV (UTF-8 with BOM so Excel shows Bangla, Arabic and other scripts correctly)
- XLSX (Pro)
- JSON
Free and paid
30 domains per run.
Unlimited domains, monthly check allowance, guessed emails, XLSX export.
Tips
- mx-ok means the domain can receive email. It does not prove the mailbox exists. No browser tool can prove that.
- Role addresses such as info@ or sales@ are real but shared. Expect lower reply rates.
- Only contact businesses where the law allows it and honour opt-outs.
Troubleshooting
A site returned nothing.
It may block requests, need JavaScript, or have no public email. Large pages above 1.5 MB are skipped.
An email looks wrong.
Image names like a@2x.png and placeholders such as your@email are filtered. Report any that slip through.
The run paused with a countdown. Is something wrong?
No. After a stall or several failures in a row the extension cools down for 10 minutes and then resumes. This keeps activity gentle.
I closed the browser during a run.
Progress is saved after every item. Open the side panel again and press Resume. Items already done are not repeated.
A field is empty for some rows.
The page did not show that detail, or the site layout changed. The run continues and leaves the field empty. If it is empty everywhere, update the extension.
