  • Days running, active status and a likely-winner flag
  • Collections, tags and notes per competitor
  • An advertiser view with top calls to action and landing domains

Data fields

  • library_id, advertiser name, page URL, status, start date, platforms
  • ad text, headline, call to action, destination, media type, thumbnail links, variants count
  • country filter in effect, category, collected_at, days_running

Install

  1. 01

Download. Get the extension from the Download page. Before the Chrome Web Store listing is live you receive a ZIP file.

  2. 02

Unzip. Extract the ZIP into a folder you will keep, for example Documents/LeadSpyKit.

  3. 03

Open the extensions page. In Chrome or any Chromium browser (Edge, Brave, Opera) open chrome://extensions and switch on Developer mode.

  4. 04

Load it. Click Load unpacked and choose the extension folder. Pin the icon so it is easy to reach.

  5. 05

Open the side panel. Click the icon. The panel opens beside the page and stays there while you work.

  6. 06

Add your licence (paid extensions). Open Settings, paste the key from your account page and press Check. Without a key the free limits apply.

Works in Chrome and Chromium browsers such as Edge, Brave and Opera. See the Download page.

Put ads in a collection per competitor. Add tags and notes.

  4. 04

Tips

  • It reads only what your own browsing has already loaded. It does not log in or open hidden tabs.
  • Use the same keyword in several countries to see where a competitor is investing.

Troubleshooting

Some fields are empty.

Meta changes its page layout from time to time. The extension leaves unknown fields empty instead of breaking.

Auto-scroll stopped.

It stops on any login, checkpoint or verification page by design. Handle it in the tab and start again.

I closed the browser during a run.

Progress is saved after every item. Open the side panel again and press Resume. Items already done are not repeated.

A field is empty for some rows.

The page did not show that detail, or the site layout changed. The run continues and leaves the field empty. If it is empty everywhere, update the extension.
